I’m an undergraduate researcher working on low-resource NLP, multilingual speech modeling, and knowledge-augmented language systems. My work spans fine-tuning Nepali ASR models at Wiseyak Inc., contributing to Hugging Face TRL, and building logically validated knowledge graphs at CAIR-Nepal.
Currently a Research Intern at the Center for AI Research Nepal (CAIR), where I co-designed HeritageGraph — an OWL ontology for Nepal’s cultural heritage aligned with CIDOC-CRM, producing 17,894 inferred triples with zero unsatisfiable classes.
Language isn’t just a tool for communication. It’s how we interrogate our own thoughts — how we challenge what we know to reach what we don’t know yet. That’s what makes NLP more than just a subfield of AI for me. It’s a path to building machines that can reason, reflect, and maybe even rethink.
AI is the new electricity. If not Edison of this new electricity, I would want to become part of the grid at the very least.
